# BOM and profile identifiers

> Agent Volumes BOM/profile identifiers used by trust artifacts and mapping fixtures.

Agent Volumes uses profile identifiers such as `agent-volumes-bom-v0.1` to label BOM and trust-artifact conventions in release metadata, trust discovery, and mapping fixtures.

These identifiers are release-context strings unless a future specification makes a specific value URI-backed. Do not treat them as a broad external registry of supported artifact formats.

## Current identifier

| `agent-volumes-bom-v0.1` | Identifies the Agent Volumes v0.1 BOM/profile convention in trust metadata and BOM/provenance mapping fixtures. |

## Publication boundary

* The identifier describes the v0.1 profile context used by Agent Volumes artifacts.
* It does not make every BOM format portable or verified.
* It does not replace concrete artifact format identifiers, such as CycloneDX media types or SLSA predicate types.
